เรื่องย่อ

             ชองเทฮุน (เรน) คือนักบินของหน่วยแบล็กอีเกิล สังกัดกองทัพอากาศเกาหลีใต้ที่ถูกสั่งย้ายให้ไปประจำการที่หน่วยบินรบ เป็นการลงโทษที่เขาบินผาดโผนอย่างน่ากลัวในการแสดงแสนยานุภาพทางอากาศ วันแรกที่มาถึง เขาได้พบกับ ชอลฮี (ยูจุนซัง) นักบินมือดีที่สุดของกองทัพอากาศผู้เคร่งครัดต่อระเบียบทุกกระเบียดนิ้ว ความต่างอย่างสุดขั้วของทั้งสองทำให้พวกเขารู้สึกบาดหมางตั้งแต่แรกพบ แต่ยังโชคดีที่เขาได้เพื่อนใหม่อีกหลายคน ไม่ว่าจะเป็น แดโซ (คิมซองซู) ยูจิน (อีฮานา) ซอกฮยอน (อีจงซอก) และ เซยอง (ชินเซคยอง) ที่ประจำการหน่วยซ่อมบำรุง ขณะที่การฝึกซ้อมในกองทัพดำเนินไป เครื่องบินรบจากเกาหลีเหนือก็มุ่งหน้าสู่กรุงโซล เทฮุนและสมาชิกนักบินคนอื่นๆ ที่ถูกสั่งพักงาน จึงถูกเรียกตัวกลับมาปฏิบัติหน้าที่อีกครั้ง และคราวนี้ไม่ใช่แค่การซ้อมรบหรือบินผาดโผนเท่านั้น แต่เป็นสงครามที่มีชีวิตเป็นเดิมพัน
