เรื่องย่อ
เงียบหายไปนานหลังจากมีการจัดงานแถลงข่าวไปเมื่อปีที่แล้ว ล่าสุดวันนี้ โจวซิงฉือ ได้กลับมาอีกครั้งพร้อมกับตัวอย่างหนังใหม่ Journey to the West ที่จะมาเรียกเสียงฮือฮาจากคอหนังที่กำลังรอคอยผลงานของเขาอยู่
ทั้งนี้ โจวซิงฉือได้เผยว่า เขาจะไม่สวมบทบาทเป็นตัวละครหลักของเรื่องเพียงอย่างเดียวเท่านั้น แต่เขาจะมุ่งความสนใจไปที่การกำกับ และสร้างหนังเรื่องนี้เป็นหลัก ซึ่งเขาบอกเรื่องราวของหนังเพียงคร่าว ๆ ว่า เกี่ยวกับความรัก แน่นอนว่าจะต้องมีมุกตลกอันเป็นจุดขายของเขาเหมือนเดิม นอกจากนี้ ผู้สร้างหนังอย่าง Huayi Brothers ก็การันตีเช่นกันว่า หนังเรื่องนี้จะใช้เทคนิคระดับฮอลลีวูดเลยทีเดียว
ทั้งนี้ สำหรับ Journey to the West จะมีโปรแกรมฉายอยู่ในช่วงตรุษจีนปีนี้ โดยมีนักแสดงนำ ซูฉี, หวงเป่า, จางเหวิน, หลัวจื้อเสียง และโจวซิ่วนา ซึ่งขณะนี้ถ่ายทำเสร็จเรียบร้อยแล้ว และกำลังอยู่ในขั้นตอนการทำเทคนิคพิเศษที่ค่อนข้างใช้เวลานานกับการสร้างตัวละครพิสดารทั้งเทพและมาร รวมถึงองค์ประกอบเกินจริงในแบบของไซอิ๋ว
