เรื่องย่อ

            The Host เป็นเรื่องราวที่เกิดขึ้นในโลกอนาคต หลังจากปรสิตจากต่างดาวที่เรียกตัวเองว่า "โซล" บุกโลกยึดร่างและควบคุมความคิดของมนุษย์ทุกคน แต่ก็มีเพียง เมลานี สไตรย์เดอร์ (รับบทโดย เซอเชอร์ โรแนน) หญิงสาววัย 20 ที่ถึงแม้จะถูกโซลที่ชื่อ แวนด้า (รับบทโดย เซอเชอร์ โรแนน เช่นกัน) เข้ายึดครองร่าง อย่างไรก็ตามจิตใจของเธอก็ไม่ยอมถูกควบคุม ซึ่งทำให้ แวนด้า ได้เห็นความทรงจำของ ด้วยจิตวิญญาณที่ไม่ยอมแพ้และเลือนหายไปของ เมลานี ก่อนที่จะได้พบกับคนรักอีกครั้ง เธอก็อาจเป็นกุญแจดอกสำคัญ ที่จะปลดปล่อยมนุษย์ทั้งโลกจากโซล
